Dates: Wednesdays, September 13th – November 1st
Time: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
Location: WIMR room 3001A (except on October 25th which will be in WIMR 5001A)
Introduction to Yoga is an 8-week series that is designed for graduate students who are looking to cultivate stability and resilience for everyday life. Each class will focus on fundamental yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Students will learn the tools for building strength, flexibility, and ease of mind. To get the most out of this practice, interested students are asked to commit to 6 out of the 8 class sessions.

Yoga students from all levels and experience are welcome! Please bring a towel to sit on. Yoga mat, block, and strap are optional.

The NTP data blitz is a casual get together where students can share their research with each other in three minutes and 1 PDF slide. We will provide food and drink – so come join us to eat, drink and be nerdy!

Unsure how to file taxes for your scholarship? Have questions about your different tax forms? Want to know where to find free resources for filing? Tax Tips for Graduate Students will be presented by a representative from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. This presentation aims to explain the tax basics and resources available, with an emphasis on financial situations relevant to graduate students.
